Foot Institute Doctors spend approximately 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in point of fact quite a number podiatry programs are contained inside these schools. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have received significant medical education with an importance on conditions concerning the feet and ankles. They are taught to deal with complications extending from standard afflictions for instance ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are far more complicated like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
