Foot Institute Podiatrists invest around 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in fact quite a number podiatry programmes are located inside these academic institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have obtained significant healthcare training with an attention to on conditions concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are taught to handle problems ranging from conventional afflictions such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more challenging for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
